I began the story in the spring of 2002 and finished it in January 2006. Yup, nearly 4 years. I was working full-time and writing extremely part-time. I would write little snippets of ideas on receipt paper while working the tills at Coles and Chapters. It was a long road, but I was so relieved to be finished!
